I am doing my marketing plan for a company called Myco Enterprises located in Felton, Pa. It is a non hazerdous waste transportation company. The company mainly transport used oil, antifreeze, oil water mix, and other non haz materiels. The company was started and housed in Pa for 12 years.
I am 21 years old and have lived in claremore for three years. I moved here from PA to attend RSU and compete on the rodeo team. I am starting my Jr year and hoping to be a Sr by the end of it.
My target market is businesses with in a 50 mile radius of Harrisburg Pa that need waste removal services. These includes businesses in the following industries car washes, car dealerships, factories, and garages.
Wow, you can tell you've spent a lot of time on this.. ha ha. Just bustin' your chops man. Procrastination is a disease affecting millions, and I happen to be a recipient. All joking aside, I'm interested in finding out how you marketed this service to the public. As a word of advice, go to Reference USA through the RSU Library database. Select business, not residential, and then pick custom. On the tab on the left you'll see options and find the 'sic and naics codes' button and select it. For each type of business you listed above type that in, and it will help you to locate the correct corresponding sic code. Then do the following for each business sic.
Hit the geography button on the left tab. When you hit that, then it opens up and you pick 'radius.' Type in the zip code of your business, then select 50miles. It will give you every potential customer in that radius, which should be valuable to you. Hope this helps!
